Mar de Frades winemaker, Paula Fandino, was the first to make a sparkling Albariño in DO Rias Baixas and is convinced that there is another side to this premium Spanish grape. She believes that Albariño can make sparkling wine to rival the best in the world and firmly believes it is the best grape to produce fizz in Spain.

Always experimenting, Paula looks for special parcels of vines that offer grapes that give beautifully structured wine that with the extra dimension offered by second fermentation and produces sparkling wines of great finesse.

Recommended by our great friend and sommelier Tim, we are proud to serve this limited production Albarino Brut Nature that compliments the finest seafood perfectly.

It is lemony, golden yellow, appears fine on the nose and is complex and expressive. The sparkles first manifests traces of its aging in bottle and a background of see water, eucalyptus and white fruits with a deep resemblance to Albariño. Toasted bread and almond shell background. Wide, tasty, creamy and fresh on the palate – just stunning with the freshest seafood from the South Coast… available by the glass and by the bottle!
