From the sea and the wrinkled land

Premium quality, limited production English wine to accompany the freshest seafood.

FishWorks, together with our great friend Tim McLaughlin-Green, sommelier, wine consultant and owner of Sommelier’s Choice, wanted to share a very special addition to FishWorks wine list!

With Tim’s philosophy to search for and work with family owned wineries, we found Knightor – "Ro an Mor Hag an Crgh Tyr" or in English "from the sea and the wrinkled land", it is a limited Cornish white wine with only 5500 bottles produced.

Delicate floral aromas, reminiscent of gooseberry and elderflower and has a light refreshing palate… perfect to have as an aperitif or together with fish – ideal with hand-dived scallops!

“The 2013 vintage was kind to the Madeleine crop and along with its usual array of citrus and floral flavours this year’s wine takes on a slightly richer more tropical note too. The palate is balanced, refreshing and immensely drinkable. Probably the best Madeleine Angevine we have made to date, this will please those that enjoy the elegance of the style, looking for a wine to drink as an aperitif or with locally caught seafood” - says the producer.

We are happy to share it with our valued customers and hope you will like it as much as we do!

Choose to share the best,
The FishWorks Team together with Tim from Sommelier’s Choice
